Protest will still continue, ready to get arrested- Rakesh Tikait

Farmers’ protest against the government

Bhartiya Kisan Union leader, Rakesh Tikait on Thursday on the order of the Ghaziabad Police’s notice to clear the Ghazipur border area. A local has registered a complaint against the protest that 2 months long protest has made their daily commute difficult. On the response of this local police has given orders to clear the dharna sites so the further response of the farmers of Punjab haryana is that they are sending more protesters and tractors to the agitating site so that the protest could last long.

Rakesh Tikait while interacting with the media kept on repeating one dialogue, “come and shoot us but we will still be here” when asked why he keeps on saying this by one of the lady journalists he seemed to have no relevant answer on this context. Rakesh Tikait who is leading the farmers protest, it turns out that he was once the Sub Inspector in Delhi Police whom he is disrespecting for now. He is the son of Mahendra Singh Tikait, leader of farmers so we conclude he inherited these leadership qualities from family. His father along with the Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh were the biggest leaders  of the farmers world in their own time. His father was the president of Bhartiya Kisan Union before his demise. And to make the party into a successful one Mahendra Singh Tikait had to lead a group of farmers to establish his party. Farmers’ protest against the government is the leadership test of Rakesh Tikait.

18 opposition political parties have decided to Friday Boycott the joint seating of parliamentary session with the President where he will address all the farm laws, but Prahlad joshi, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs urged to all the leaders of the kisan union to join and appealed them it that the president is ready to speak on the three farm bills
