Early Life
Born in 1973, Faridabad, Haryana, Sonu Nigam’s parents belonged trom Agra and Garhwal. He has one sister who is also a singer. The singer got much early exposure to singing when he was just four years old. He used to accompany his father to events like weddings and other functions.
Sonu sang the song ‘Kya Hua Tera Wada’ of the late legendary singer Mohammad Rafi. He further headed towards Mumbai along with his father at the age of 19. There he found his master, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, a renowned Indian classical singer who gave him training in singing.
