Early life:

Born in Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom, Prince Charles is the eldest son of the Monarch Queen Elizabeth and her late husband, the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip. It is said that Prince Charles has been the first in line to the throne ever since his birth. After his maternal grandfather, King George passed away, Elizabeth was crowned as the Queen of England. Soon after becoming the Queen, she gave birth to Prince Charles. 

Queen Elizabeth realized that not being educated from a regular school made her knowledge limited. Hence, she sent her eldest son Prince Charles to Hill House School in west London. He described his mother and father to be very busy people who never spent enough time with him. Also, some people who’ve been around the royal family for a long time, believed that the idea of Prince Charles becoming King Charles frightened Queen Elizabeth. 

Prince Charles shall be crowned only after the death of Queen Elizabeth. Hence his ascent to the throne would mean her death, which was an important reason for the emotional distance between Prince Charles and his mother.
